I’m not sure about you but I know that I find myself looking for quotes pretty much every single day to keep me inspired or to get me in the mood to kick butt that day.
I can tell you that fitness motivation is no different and some days it requires more inspiration than I might realize! I have compiled my top 5 quotes that are more geared toward fitness but can be related to any aspect of your life.
How many times have you talked yourself out of a workout because you didn’t think you were “in shape enough” to participate? It doesn’t matter what fitness level you are at – just get up and move! Your body will thank you for it later – believe me! If you’re worried about being judged by those in your life, ignore them. Think about why you want to get healthy in the first place…I bet that it has nothing to do with those people!
4% – that’s it! That is such a small percentage of your day when you think about it. As humans we spend more time that than making excuses as to why we can’t do something. This is a statistic that you want to be part of. After that one hour , your brain has releases so many feel good juices that it will improve the rest of the day for you.
This quote was a close tie to another one of my favorites, “It doesn’t get easier, you get stronger.” Either quote has the same meaning – take things a day at a time. When it comes to your health and fitness journey, it’s a lifestyle change not a fad diet. Before I started my journey, I had so much negative self talk going on in my head that it took me a long time to shut it out and actually get started. I’m still on my journey and will be for the rest of the my life so as long as I keep getting stronger both mentally and physically, I know that I am doing something right.
SO MUCH YES! Did you know that the average person scrolls through Facebook at least 13 times per day for an average of 2 minute and 22 seconds each time. Granted that time might not seem like a lot but I got news for you – that 28 minutes per day can be used for something much better than scrolling through Facebook. I have done workouts in LESS time that that! My point? There really isn’t any excuse as to why you can’t get an a workout in!
Finally, this quote right here ^^^ is everything!
I just recently starting seeing this pop up with some other fitness professionals that I am friends with. If you’re unhealthy, think about what it costs you to be this way. Do you have doctor’s bills? Do you have to buy bigger sized clothing because you’ve grown out of them? Do you miss the way you used to live your life? Is your self-esteem down big time? You may not be able to put an exact cost on those items but it can be huge for your well-being.
If you want results with anything in life, it takes a commitment. It takes an INVESTMENT. It won’t happen overnight but if you truly give it your all and try hard, you will look back on the person you used to be and wonder why you ever became that person at all.
